Award Of Certifications

1. Certifications Issuance Process
a. Submission
The first step towards the obtention of your Certification is to submit your Final Project (Permaculture Design Master Plan, Master’s Degree Thesis, etc.) to S.A.I.
Your Final Project will need to be saved in a .pdf format and sent to S.A.I. from the Submission Process page found in every program or course that requires a Final Project to be submitted to be awarded a Certification.
b. Review
Once your Final Project is submitted, you will receive a confirmation notification and our Educational Team will review the document you submitted.
The review process usually takes less than 10 days.
c. Issuance
If your Final Project is accepted, you will receive a notification of acceptance, and you will receive your Certification in your S.A.I. Student Account.
2. Certificates Location and Download
Once you receive the Acceptance Notification, you will need to access your Student Profile on the S.A.I. website.
In your profile, on your course bar, you will notice a new icon next to the mention “Complete”.

If you click on the icon, a new tab will open, and you will see your Certification in .pdf format.

From there, you will have the ability to download your Certification on your computer, tablet, or phone, and/or to print it.
3. Internationally-Mailed Original Signed Certificates
S.A.I. offers you the possibility to receive an Original Signed Certification directly to your home address.
You can click on the option when you enroll in any course, or you can contact us to add this option to your account.
For an additional 50 USD, your Certification will be mailed to your address internationally and you will receive it within two weeks of your digital Certification Issuance.
4. Institutional Repository
Once your Final Project is approved by S.A.I.’s Educational Team, you will receive an Acceptance Notification to inform you that your Final Project has been accepted and that your Certification has been added to your Student Account.
S.A.I. will also add your Final project to the Institutional Repository which will be publicly accessible to permaculture students and researchers alike.
