PROCEDURE FOR CONSULTANCY

1.0   PURPOSE

To ensure effective and efficient recruitment and deployment of the Institute Employees.

 

2.0 SCOPE

It covers the identification of vacancies, advertisement, recruitment, selection, and placement of appointed staff.

4.0 PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITY

Strategic Financial Management Services shall be responsible for all matters pertaining to Recruitment & Deployment.

 

5.0 METHODS

 

5.1        The HOD shall identify the staffing needs and submit them to the HRM.

5.2        The HRM shall report the staff requirements to the DVC (AF)

5.3        The DVC (AF) shall seek authority to employ from Council through the VC.

5.4        The Council shall authorize the VC to advertise the positions.

5.5        The HRM shall receive and sort the applications and forward them to the relevant committees.

5.6         The HRM shall receive minutes and a list of all the applicants and the shortlisted candidates from the relevant committees. 

5.7        The DVC (AF) shall invite the shortlisted candidates for an interview. 

5.8        The HRM shall notify the successful candidate. 

5.9         The appointed staff shall report to the HRM for induction and deployment to relevant departments.
