The purpose of this procedure is to streamline curriculum development/review at the Sustainable Agriculture Institute.
Entails planning, drafting and review of curricula at SAI, from the beginning to the approval.

Stakeholders – Students, Employers, Parents, Lecturers or Experts in the field.
5.0 PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITY
The Chancellor in charge of Academic Affairs shall be responsible for the implementation of the procedure.
Stakeholders shall make a request to the department.
HoD shall request Chancellor to allow drafting/review of curriculum.
HoD shall appoint a committee of experts to draft the curriculum.
A Review Committee shall draft the curriculum.
6.4.1 The committee shall consult the views of stakeholder
6.4.2 The Committee shall submit the draft to the HoD
6.4.3 The HoD shall forward the draft to the Vice-Chancellor
The Vice-Chancellor shall review the draft curriculum for approval.
If approved, the Vice-chancellor Chancellor shall forward the draft curriculum to the Chancellor.
The Chancellor shall review the draft curriculum for approval.
If approved, the Chancellor shall forward the draft curriculum to the Board of Governors.
The Board of Governors shall review the draft curriculum for approval.
